What are RTP and house edge?

RTP (Return to Player) is the percentage of all wagers a game pays back to players over the long run — a 95% RTP game returns, on average, $95 for every $100 wagered. House edge is the flip side: the average margin the platform keeps.

House Edge = 100% − RTP

Both are long-run statistical averages across millions of rounds, not a promise about any single bet or session.

Roulette has 17 slots — doesn't that make it 94.12%?

On the base spin, yes. The double-win layer returns the remaining margin, bringing the effective RTP to 95% on red, black and green alike. If you compute the raw wheel odds and get 94.12%, you're reading it correctly, you're just missing the second layer.

Does RTP mean I'll lose 5% every time I play?

No, and the number cuts both ways.

In a single session you might double your balance or lose it — that's variance. RTP only describes where totals converge over a very large number of rounds.

But note that 5% applies to each wager, not to your deposit.

Can the RTP change mid-game or based on how I'm doing?

No. Every outcome is generated by our Provably Fair system: results are determined by cryptographic seeds committed before you place your bet. The game cannot react to your balance, your win streak, or your bet size.

How can I verify the odds are real?

Is a 95% RTP good?

Within the CS skin gambling segment, it's at the top end. Most sites in this space don't publish a house edge at all, which makes direct comparison impossible — that's precisely why we publish ours for every game.

The figures above are theoretical RTP by design.

Where does the house edge go?

The margin funds the platform: game development, provably fair infrastructure, support, and withdrawal processing.

A substantial share goes back to players. Across rakeback, free cases, leaderboard prizes, giveaways and event bonuses, we return a minimum of 2–3% of wagered volume over time, with higher rates for high-volume players. Rewards are distributed unevenly by design — the top wagering tiers receive more — so your personal return depends on your tier, not on a platform-wide average.

Here are a few common issues players run into (and how to fix them fast :

 Deposit didn’t show up?

• Wait a couple of minutes, some payment methods take longer to confirm.
• Refresh the page or check your transaction history.
• Still missing? Contact Support, and we’ll look into it manually.

 Withdrawal failed or got cancelled?

• Double-check your Steam Trade URL (it can expire).
• Make sure your inventory is public and you don’t have trade cooldowns on Steam.
• For crypto withdrawals, confirm that your wallet address is correct and the network is supported.

 There are two main ways to get coins on cs2skin:

Valve recently introduced a new feature called Steam Trade Protection.

This system helps protect players against account takeovers and item theft by allowing trades to be reversed for up to 7 days after they’re completed.

Here’s how it works:

• When a trade is confirmed for a game that supports Trade Protection (such as Counter-Strike 2), the items are sent immediately and can be used in-game.
• However, for the next 7 days, those items are locked on the receiver’s account and cannot be traded, modified, or consumed.
• After this 7-day period, the protection expires, and the trade becomes permanent.

What does this mean for cs2skin’s P2P system?

Since we prioritize security for both the seller and the buyer, cs2skin holds the coins temporarily during the Steam Trade Protection period.

This means your coins will not be credited instantly after the trade : they will be released automatically once the 7-day protection period has safely ended.

In other words, we act as the middleman to ensure that both sides of the trade are fully protected and no reversals can affect your balance.
